Diane Maris offers a variety of creative processes using music, art, writing and body work to aid self development through emotional expression. Her belief rests in the power of creativity to provide a strong backdrop for gaining access to the inner aspects of The Self, using both verbal and non-verbal means.

Diane has a special interest in the therapeutic value of the creative arts.
She uses music and art processes with individuals and groups of all ages to
stimulate creativity, self-awareness and deep personal transformation.
Her many years as a percussionist with the Cape Town Symphony Orchestra have given her tools for offering support to performing musicians through music-listening, imaging and creative expression using various art materials.
Diane also teaches process art, facilitating creative expression and inner development through Art Play.
Her work with Pre- and Primary school children, as well as school teachers, focuses on the joy of shared song and movement while inviting imagination through poems and story and experimentation with Sound Colour using musical instruments and drawing.
Diane is an Associate with The Institute for Applied Alchemy in Cape Town. The Institute's core values underpin Diane's methodology which focuses on creating care and safety for individuals within any system or organization, while focusing on realizing untapped potential. The emphasis is on Self-Leadership, accountability and impact.
Diane has created The Healing Room as a space for Purposeful Remedies - to assist with specific needs relating to holistic health care. There are intangible products on offer, as mentioned above, including energy healing, and a variety of tangible products such as California White Sage, Palo Santo sticks, art supplies, plants, candles and books for promoting creativity, self-knowledge and general well-being.
